Cinnamon & strawberry rolls
Ingredients
10 strawberries sliced
6 bread slices
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp castor sugar
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp custard powder
1/2 cup milk
6 tbsp Nutella
Method
Mix castor sugar & cinnamon powder in 1 bowl and keep this aside.
Mix custard powder, sugar & milk in another bowl and keep it aside.
Remove the sides of the bread slices, apply butter & flatten it with the rolling pin. Spread generously Nutella on each slice. On one end put the strawberry slices.
Roll the bread to form a roll. Start from the edge where you placed the strawberries. Do the same with the rest of the slices.
Heat a skillet and add butter. As the butter starts melting, dip the roll in custard milk mixture and place them on the heated skillet. Toast them from each side till they are golden brown.
When the rolls are evenly toasted, roll them into the cinnamon & sugar mixture.
Serve hot immediately with some fresh cold strawberries.
